Founder of Renard Clinic, Mathilde is a bilingual physiotherapist (English & French), fully registered with the HCPC, a member of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) professional network in the UK as well as the Institut de Pelvi-Périnéologie de Paris (IPPP) in France, where she completed the majority of her advanced training.
Her practice is built on the values of evidence-based care, empathy, and empowerment. She specialises in pelvic health, women’s and men’s health, as well as sports rehabilitation, helping individuals recover, perform, and move with confidence.

Healing is never just physical: it’s about listening, connecting, and rebuilding safely from the inside out.”

CAREER

A physiotherapist woman holding a pelvis model in front of her face, anatomy of the pelvic floor, leak prevention

Born and raised in Grenoble, in the French Alps, Mathilde grew up surrounded by skiing and hiking, an environment that shaped her passion for movement and health. She studied physiotherapy at the Grenoble School of Physiotherapy, where she built a strong foundation in sports rehabilitation and women’s health. Her final research thesis focused on injury prevention in classical dancers, which revealed the many overlooked pelvic floor challenges performers face: a turning point that shaped her career path.

She went on to specialise in pelvic health physiotherapy, first in women’s health, from postnatal recovery to chronic pelvic pain, and later expanding her expertise to include male pelvic health, with the aim of offering a more inclusive and holistic approach.

After gaining clinical experience in Paris, she moved to London, where she spent over seven years at My French Physio, a specialist clinic dedicated to women’s health and rehabilitation. With the creation of Renard Clinic, Mathilde brings together advanced pelvic health care and high-level sports rehabilitation, offering patients precise, empowering, and individualised support.

“When patients understand the ‘why,’ they heal with more confidence and long-term strength.”
